Detroit pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. have premiered a brand new music video featuring their latest single “If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t On The Dancefloor).” Co-starring actors John Ennis (Mr. Show, Tenacious D) and Jay Johnston (Anchorman, Arrested Development), as two beat cops trying to hunt down the band and put a stop their ridiculously catchy tunes, the clip showcases Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein outstanding ability to hide in plain sight.
“Making this video was an epic day in sunny Los Angeles,” explains the band. “We wore more make up than we had cumulatively worn in our entire lives prior to filming this, and got to hang out with some of the most talented comedians we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. It was a really wonderful day, even when you factor in the food poisoning that Josh and the Director got form the craft services table. While the original intention of the video was not necessarily centered around humor, the energy of the actors we ended up being able to work with brought it to a great new place.”
“If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t On The Dancefloor)” is currently featured on the band’s recently released EP Patterns, and will likely be included on their forthcoming sophomore album out later this year.
