Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi
Over the weekend Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi debuted an animated music video for “Two Against One,” a single off the producer and composer’s spaghetti western-influenced musical undertaking Rome. Featuring Jack White on vocals, NPR reports that the hand-drawn video was directed by Chris Milk with Anthhony Francisco Schepperd, and is actually meant to be something of a prelude to a Rome-inspired live action film currently in development with Danger Mouse and prodcuers Anthhony Bregman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and Megan Ellison (True Grit). Says Milk, “The music video is essentially the fever dream of the antagonist of the story. It’s mostly his backstory, his life before the tale we see in the movie.” Check out the nightmarishly psychedlic clip below, and for a further sneak peek into Milk’s proposed story, Google Chrome users can head over to www.Ro.me for something a little more interactive from the side of the protagonist.
