Dent May has shared a new video for his holiday-themed song, “I’ll Be Stoned for Christmas.” According to a press release, the video is shared “just in time to soundtrack your own disillusionment with Christmas week.” Robbie Hillyer Barnett directed the clip, which features a former Hollywood It Girl named Cherry who visits her small hometown for Christmas and decides to get high to help her through the experience. Her story is intercut with images of Dent May singing by a Christmas tree.
The video was appropriately premiered by High Times. The press release also points out that May is working on a new album and Barnett is directing a feature film starring Kate Lyn Sheil and Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring.
