Eden is a new fictionalized drama about the 1990s French electronic music scene. It’s out now in limited release and co-stars Greta Gerwig. Mia Hansen-Løve directed the film and co-wrote it with her brother Sven. The film is loosely based on Sven’s life and experiences in the ‘90s electronic scene. He was friends with Daft Punk and they are portrayed in the film by actors Vincent Lacoste and Arnaud Azoulay. A new clip from the film has been released and it features the actors as Daft Punk as they play early single “Da Funk” for the first time at a house party. This was before they started dressing up as robots. Watch the clip below via DJ Mag, who premiered it, followed by the film’s trailer.
