Watch: Glass Animals - “Youth” Video
How to Be a Human Being Due Out August 26 via Harvest
Jul 26, 2016 Glass Animals
British four-piece Glass Animals are releasing their sophomore album, How to Be a Human Being, on August 26 via Harvest. Previously they had shared the album’s first single, “Life Itself,” as well as a video for the song. Now the band have shared a video for “Youth” that appears to be set in the same dinner and motel as the “Life Itself” clip. It features the same waitress as that video as well as a young dancing boy. Watch below.
Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley had this to say about the song in a press release: “Someone told me a story about her son once that was one of the saddest things I’ve ever heard. What she said was completely heartbreaking, but she told it with such optimism and such a sense of calm. She was on the verge of crying, but she was also smiling and something in her face said that she had found a way to be happy again. This song is trying to get at that sentiment.”
The album is the follow-up to 2014’s debut album ZABA.
