Elbow
Elbow frontman Guy Garvey recently announced his debut solo album, Courting the Squall. We’ve already heard the album’s first single, “Angela’s Eyes,” and now the song has a video. It features Garvey and his backing band performing the song in a lounge while a woman (perhaps Angela) half-watches while also doing a crossword.
Courting the Squall is due in the U.K. on October 30, but it won’t be out in America until spring 2016. Check out the “Angela’s Eyes” video below. Following that are some upcoming solo Garvey tour dates in the U.K.
Elbow’s latest album is 2014’s The Take Off and Landing of Everything and they recently released a new four-song EP entitled Lost Worker Bee. Read our 2014 print article on Elbow and our 2014 web-exclusive interview with frontman Guy Garvey on his favorite cities.
