Last month UK electronic producer Jon Hopkins recruited Purity Ring vocalist Megan James for a new version of his Immunity track “Breathe This Air.” This morning Hopkins have premiered a music video for the new take directed Anthony Dickenson. Telling the story of two complete strangers in a isolated wilderness - one, a hunter who awakens to realize his car has struck a deer, the other a crying young woman trying to find some peace in an empty lake - the paths of the two individuals wind up crossing in one of the unexpected ways.

”I was interested in those times when you think you’re totally alone in your thoughts and something unexpectedly disrupts that, snapping you out,” says Dickenson in a statement. “The characters in the film have very different stories but I wanted to create distinct parallels, bringing them closer and closer until they actually intersect in a single defining moment.”
