Beings Out Now via Bella Union

Lanterns on the Lake
Widescreen British quartet Lanterns on the Lake released their third album, Beings, on Bella Union last November. The dramatic collection got a little lost in all the year-end stuff, but now the band has shared a video for “The Crawl” to help remind you of its existence. Alexander Grieves directed the romantic and nostalgic clip, which takes place at a British dance hall in 1953. Watch the elegant video below.
Grieves had this to say about the video in a press release: “There’s something quite haunting about ‘The Crawl,’ there are moments of often unusual, evocative imagery in the lyrics but there’s also this nostalgic, poetic, romantic quality to it. The video is a glimpse into a moment in time set in the ballroom dance halls here in the North East of England in the 1950’s. It captures that special moment between two people - the kind of moments that stay with us for a lifetime; where everything around you stops and you leave the world outside.”

Thanks for sharing! I will definitely use some points, at least those I didn’t know before.
