Watch Leo, Brad, and Margot in the First Trailer for Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”
Due Out July 26 via Columbia
Mar 20, 2019 Leonardo DiCaprio
Quentin Tarantino’s much-hyped new motion picture, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is due out July 26 via Columbia and now we’re getting the first true look at the film (beyond some photos), as its first teaser trailer has been shared. And… it looks pretty damn great. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as TV actor Rick Dalton, with Brad Pitt as his stunt double and friend Cliff Booth. The film takes place in Los Angeles in 1969 and is littered with real life figures, such as Margot Robbie as the doomed Sharon Tate, Mike Moh as Bruce Lee, and Damian Lewis as Steve McQueen. Watch the trailer below.
How Charles Manson and his cult figures into the plot is still a mystery. The packed cast also features Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch, Scoot McNairy, Lena Dunham, Nicholas Hammond, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Timothy Olyphant, James Marsden, and the late Luke Perry (who had finished filming his role before his passing). Tarantino writes and directs and the film is his first since 2015’s The Hateful Eight.
