Lower Dens has released the video for “To Die in L.A.,” the propulsive lead single from their upcoming album Escape From Evil. Directed by Cody Critcheloe of SSION, the clip follows an unstable actress in the titular California city who embodies all the tropes of a soapy drama in the ‘80s. It’s got a dark, fiery Lynchian vibe, and is a great backdrop to a stunning track. Check it out below.
Escape From Evil is out March 31 via Ribbon Music.

The song did show how an unstable actress can be in her remaining life when she losses all her fame and hard to find that lost charm she used to have. It was really meaningful and quite understandable.
