On the road in support of their much-loved debut full-length The Slideshow Effect Toronto dream pop duo Memoryhouse stopped by the offices of the A.V. Club in Chicago to take part in the company’s ongoing Undercover series, playing their own unique rendition of The Police’s 1981 hit “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.” According to bandmember Evan Abeele they chose the particular song because it fit into “manic pixie dream girl logic.” Try to catch the look singer Denise Nouvion playfully gives her songwriting partner when he says this.
