Watch Natalie Prass Cover Slayer’s “Raining Blood”
As Part of A.V. Club's Undercover Series
Oct 13, 2015
Natalie Prass
Natalie Prass stopped by the A.V. Club offices to take part on their A.V. Undercover video series where bands pick a song to cover from a predetermined list (it’s in its sixth season). The Virginia based musician chose Slayer’s “Raining Blood,” perhaps a strange choice for the artist whose music is more influenced by old school soul than Slayer’s thrash metal. But covers are only interesting if the artist does something different with it and that’s certainly the case here. Check it out below.
Prass released her acclaimed self-titled debut album earlier this year via Spacebomb. Below are her upcoming tour dates. Also read our Pleased to Meet You Spotlight interview with Prass and our separate recent print magazine article on Prass.
