On the official Instagram account for Star Wars today a new teaser trailer was released for the highly anticipated sequel, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It doesn’t reveal much, being confined to Instagram video length and all, but it does show off a lightsaber duel between John Boyega’s Finn and Adam Driver’s evil Jedi Kylo Ren. Check it out below.

Hoping to wash away the bad aftertaste left by George Lucas’ poorly received Star Wars prequels, director J.J. Abrams will take us back to that far, far away galaxy on December 18th, when Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens. A sequel to 1983’s Return of the Jedi, the movie is set around 30 years later and brings back all the major cast from the original trilogy (including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker), as well as new cast members John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou.
