This week Superchunk will release their tenth studio album, the ironically titled I Hate Music. Today the alt-rock veterans have shared a music video for the record’s included cut “Me & You & Jackie Mittoo.” Directed by Phil Morrison, the clip is something of a love letter our shared passion for music, and the appreciation we have for the local record stores that still provide a place to explore. Visiting everywhere from Twist and Shout, Criminal Records, Amoeba Hollywood, LUNA Music, The Last Record Store, Gravity Records, Waterloo Records, Electric Fetus, Everyday Music, Park Avenue CDs, Vintage Vinyl, and Aquarius Records, it features photos of customers with their eclectic selection of vinyl purchases.
