So they went ahead and made a CATS movie and now the first trailer has been shared. What worked on the stage in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic and long-running hit musical may or may not translate so well to the silver screen. You be the judge. The film features an all-star cast, including Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, and many others. Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech, Les Misérables) co-writes and directs. CATS is due out December 20 via Universal Pictures. Watch the trailer below.
