The Dodos
San Francisco duo The Dodos have premiered a new animated music video for their latest Carrier single “Transformer.” The semi-nonsensical, directed and drawn by artist Spencer Hicks, follows a lonely cabin dweller as he sits in his underwear mining large amounts of nose gold from his face, only to have a group of umbrella-headed invaders wreck havoc on his home and toss the owner skyward where he then gets shot by a porno mag reading hunter. Surviving his wound, the protagonist returns to home only to find the umbrella heads having a party, eating his snot, drinking beer, and dancing on tables with the corpse of his dead dog.
