The Last Shadow Puppets (the duo of Miles Kane and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner) released their long-awaited sophomore album, Everything You’ve Come to Expect, back in April of this year via Domino and last Friday released a new EP, The Dream Synopsis EP, also via Domino. When the EP was announced they shared a video for their cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Is This What You Wanted” (which is more timely now that Cohen has since passed away). They then shared a video for their cover of “Les Cactus,” a 1967 song by French rocker Jacques Dutronc. Now here’s a video for their cover of “This Is Your Life,” by late-‘70s British post-punk band Glaxo Babies. Focus Creeps directed the clip, which features the duo energetically performing the song in a sparkly studio, backed by a string section. Watch it below.

The EP includes re-recorded versions of previous tracks “Aviation” and “The Dream Synopsis,” as well as covers. The band recorded the EP live in one day at Future-Past Studios in Hudson, NY. The EP has been released digitally, on CD, and on limited edition red vinyl.
