Movie Trailers
Starting back in 1978 The American Tolkien Society proclaimed a yearly celebration of all things Middle-Earth with Tolkien Week. As part of this year’s festivities director Peter Jackson has premiered the newest trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Featuring familiar characters like Gandalf and Gollum, as well as bevy of dwarves, trolls and elves, the whole things looks to match the epicness of the Lord of the Rings trilogy quite handedly. While there’s still a lot of questions on how exactly Jackson plans to stretch the story into three movies (he’s supposedly doing some extensive mining of Tolkien’s appendices), the first installment is due to hit theaters this Dec. 14, with part two The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug set for Dec. 13, 2013 and part three The Hobbit: There and Back Again set for July 18, 2014.

The Hobbit film is going to be great. I find the pictures have a lot of quality.
This film is going to be very successful, I think.
