Watch: The Weeknd Shares Video for Collaboration with Daft Punk - “Starboy”
Starboy Due Out November 25 via XO/Republic
The Weeknd is releasing his new full-length album, Starboy, on November 25 via XO/Republic. Abel Tesfaye recently shared the album’s title track. It’s a collaboration with French electronic legends Daft Punk. Now “Starboy” has a video directed by Grant Singer. It starts with Tesfaye murdering his old persona/look (as evidenced by the victim’s haircut). He then dances with a neon lightsaber looking crucifix, which he uses to smash up a room, and goes for a drive with a wild animal. Daft Punk cameo as a portrait on the wall. Check it out below.
