In the video for Yo La Tengo track “Ohm” (from this year’s album, Fade), a set of inquisitive students attempt to unravel the enigma that is the New Jersey trio. What do we learn from the Donick Cary directed cut? Well, the Magic School bus and the Yellow Submarine aren’t the only forms of otherworldly transportation, and it takes more than mere formulas to make up Yo La Tengo. (This we might have already known.) check out the video below.
And in other weird/wonderful Yo La Tengo news, the band will release the 12” single of “Ohm” as a shower curtain. Because nothing (NOTHING) says wet and wild quite like atmospheric pop.
