Earlier this year Idaho singer/songwriter Trevor Powers, a.k.a. Youth Lagoon, took a seriously new pyschedelic approach to his dream pop template with his sophomore album Wondrous Bughouse. Today Powers has premiered a new music video for his included track “Raspberry Cane.” Though difficult to interpret, the animated visual seems to an invasion of otherwordly monsters. Paired with the music it feels like one of the more beautiful instances of death and destruction you’re likely to come across. Click below to watch.
