Canada noisy art-rockers Yamantaka // Sonic Titan are releasing a new album, DIRT, on March 23 via Paper Bag. Now they have shared a video for its third single, “Yandre.” Joyce Wong directed the video, which you can watch below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

A press release describes the video as such: “Deep in the bowels of the sunken turtle starship Anowara, a holographic simulation of 2Xth century Pureland is left running unattended for 10,000 years. The malfunctioning AI, tasked with taking care of humanity, instead resents its maker for being abandoned. The two faced nature of obsession plays out in the space between love and violence as the deadly grip of earthly desires brings only suffering through its unquenchable thirst.”
