London-based singer/songwriter Lyla Foy (formerly known as WALL) uses featherweight synths and has the prettiest soprano this side of Au Revoir Simone. Still there’s a mysterious undercurrent to “Feather Tongue,” the first single from her forthcoming debut Mirrors the Sky (due out March 18 via Sub Pop).
