Like summer camp for the music industry, new and lasting friendships are often forged at SXSW. Take, for instance, Niki & The Dove and Body Language who met at a SXSW showcase. (We can’t say for sure it was our party, but we’d certainly like to think so.) The two bands hit it off, and this remix is one of the many results. (Another was Body Language’s drummer sitting in with Niki & The Dove on a few live dates.) Listen below, as the Swedish duo takes the vibrant nu-disco of Body Language’s “The First” down to a whispery glow.
