Rapper Prodigy from the infamous Mobb Deep out of Queens, NY has passed away. He was only 42 years old and the cause of his death is unknown, though he had recently been hospitalized for complications related to sickle cell anemia, a condition he had dealt with all of his life. Prodigy was one of the best MC’s ever, delivering gritty, cold blooded raps in an unorthodox, often non rhyming stlye all his own. Rest in peace P. You were one of the greatest.
