Air
Hot on the heels of this year’s Love 2, Air is planning a March tour of North America. This is the sexy Parisian duo’s first tour of these parts in three years so they’ve enlisted some help to make it extra special. Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel will be joined by British drummer/percussionist Alex Thomas (Bat For Lashes, Badly Drawn Boy) on the journey. According to a press release, this is the “first of several U.S. trips” planned for the trio in 2010. Get ready to swoon ladies. The guest opening act will be the L.A. multi-instrumentalist/global pop maven AM.
Until March, the live threesome will keep honing their live act across Europe. They start tonight at Estonia’s Rock Café, break for the holidays, start back up in January, before ending at the London’s legendary Roundhouse on February 26th. Next year, Air will certainly rack up their frequent flyer miles. All current dates known are below. Go to the band’s website for pre-sale information.
