Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s Alec Ounsworth to Release Solo Album
Mo Beauty Out October 20th.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah lead singer Alec Ounsworth is set to release his solo Mo Beauty out October 20th on Anti- Records. Despite raising obvious zen questions, such as "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" Onsworth is enthusiastic about his new project, recorded in New Orleans with producer Steve Berlin.
"New Orleans informed the spirit of the record, as it should," said Ounsworth in a recent press release. "Any record can be influenced by its location aesthetically, and some are more than others. So it was with this record...it is New Orleans, after all."
Track List:
1. Modern Girl ( . . . with scissors)
2. Bones in the Grave
3. Holy, Holy, Holy Moses (song for New Orleans)
4. That is not my Home (after Bruegel)
5. Idiots in the Rain
