Holy conflicting info Batman! News surfaced today that French robot men Daft Punk are collaborating with Oscar-nominated composer Paul Williams. (You might know him from a little song called “Rainbow Connection.”) The composer admitted to The Hollywood Reporter at SXSW that he had written a few songs for the band’s upcoming album.
But before your expectations get too sky high, note that Daft Punk’s camp has officially denied the rumor that the duo has a new album dropping in June.
So there you have it. Get excited and speculate. But you know, not too excited.
