Fleet Foxes Finish Recording New Album

Exciting news from Fleet Foxes’ camp—the Seattle-based folkies have completed a follow-up to their self-titled 2008 debut. While the release-date still stands at “somewhere in 2011,” leadman Pecknold said the following on the band’s Facebook page. “Hey all, it's been a bit since a recording update. Well, recording is done! We are flying to New York tomorrow to mix and master the album and will have information about release date and when you'll get to hear a song or two SOON. Geologically soon but soon.”
