Here’s the good news Florence and the Machine fans, after teasing her third album earlier in the week with a teaser video and potential artwork, the album has now been officially announced with a tracklist, title, video, and everything. The bad news? You have to wait until June 2nd (or a day earlier if you’re in the U.K.) to hear the whole thing.

Florence Welch’s long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s Ceremonials is titled How Big How Blue How Beautiful (that was likely the title track that was released as a short video teaser the other day). Below is the video for first single “What Kind of Man,” which was directed by Vincent Haycock, choreographed by Ryan Heffington, features a bit of acting from Welch, and borders on NSFW in the tasteful nudity department.

Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk) produced the album and Goldfrapp mastermind Will Gregory did the arrangements. Dravs produced Björk’s Homogenic, which Welch says in a press release was “a huge record for me.” Others contributed to the album too. Kid Harpoon, with whom Welch had written her hit “Shake It Out,” co-wrote the new song “Ship to Wreck” with her. Ceremonials producer Paul Epworth returned to help with How Big‘s closing track “Mother,” described in the press release as a “psychedelic blues explosion.” John Hill and Isa Summers were also involved in the new album, which is being released by Republic in America and Island in the U.K.
