Pint-sized retro/futuristic R&B songstress Janelle Monáe took on Last Call With Carson Daly last night with a clip recorded at Los Angeles’ Viper Room. Daly’s understated pool-playing introduction didn’t come close to doing Monáe’s rendition of “Tightrope” (from recently released, The ArchAndroid) justice. However, he did get one thing right—this girl should be on everyone’s list.
