Los Angeles based artist Julia Holter released her fantastic fourth full-length album, Have You in My Wilderness, in 2015 via Domino and it made it to #4 on our Top 100 Albums of 2015 list. Now she has announced a new album, although it's not a traditional new studio album, instead she has re-recorded some of her previous songs live in a studio. It's fittingly entitled In the Same Room and is due out March 31, 2017 via Domino's new imprint Domino Documents, which plans to record other such live in the studio albums with its artists. Below is a new version of "So Lillies," a song originally found on her 2011-released debut album, Tragedy. Also below is the album's tracklist and cover art.

The album was recorded over the course of two days at RAK Studios in London and her backing band consisted of Corey Fogel (drums/vocals), Dina Maccabee (viola/vocals), and Devin Hoff (stand-up bass). Domino says the Documents project was inspired by the classic BBC sessions and their intensions are to record other artists in the same manner, in only one or two days at a "world class studio in London."
