Deemed "Too positive."

M.I.A.
M.I.A. has reportedly pushed back the release of her fourth studio album Matangi from its original April release date.
In an interview with Australian website Gold Coast the rapper says the decision was made by her label Interscope, who thought the record was “too positive.”
“They’re like, ‘You need to darken it up a bit,’” she explains. “[So] I’m taking my time to decide what they mean. It’s an interesting one for me. It’s like, ‘We just built you up as the public enemy no. 1, and now you’re coming out with all this positive stuff.’”
M.I.A. did not go into any detail of how long the revision process might take, or how far the release date has been pushed back.
