Laura Marling Announces New Album, “Once I Was an Eagle”

English singer/songwriter Laura Marling have announced that she will follow her 2011 album A Creature I Don’t Know with her latest LP Once I Was an Eagle. Set for release on May 27 on Virgin Records in the UK and May 28 on Ribbon Music in the U.S., the new full-length was recorded over the course of just 10 days with the help of Marling’s regular producer Ethan Johns. Marling’s vocals and acoustic guitars were recorded live in one take in one day. Down below you can listen to the included track “Where Can I Go?” as well as the album’s 16 song tracklist.
