Listen: Ex-Fleet Foxes Member New Project Father John Misty - “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings”
Debut Album Out in May
Jan 31, 2012 Father John Misty
Earlier this month it was reported that Fleet Foxes drummer J. Tillman was leaving the band, returning “into the gaping maw of obscurity.” Turns out “obscurity” is another word for solo project. Now operating under the guise Father John Misty and signing to Sub Pop, Tillman is poised to release his first album for the label Fear Fun on May 1. You can download a cut from the LP called “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings” for free below in exchange for an email address. You can also watch the music video for the track over at Entertainment Weekly, which stars Parks and Recreation member Aubrey Plaza going absolutely nutso during a funeral.
