Local Natives are releasing their third album, Sunlit Youth, on September 9 via Loma Vista and Infectious Music. Previously the band had shared “Past Lives” and lyric videos for “Villainy” and “Fountains of Youth.” Now here’s another song from the album, “Coins.” Listen below via a colorful lyric video created by Adam Fuchs.

The band issued this statement about the song: “‘Coins’ has quickly become one of our favorite songs to play live. Even at these early shows, there’s been an immediacy in the room that makes us feel like it’s been around for years. We couldn’t hold out to September to release this one.”

It’s been three years since Local Natives released their last album, 2013’s sophomore effort Hummingbird.
