Is it possible for Poliça to sound both dark and poppy at the same time? Their cover of Leslie Gore-classic “You Don’t Own Me” proves that it is. The brooding bubble gum rework appears on the band’s reissue of Shulamith, due out June 10 on Mom+Pop.
