Listen: The National Cover “Bob’s Burgers” Thanksgiving Song

"Kill, Kill, Kill ... Kill the Turkey"

Over the weekend primetime animated program Bob’s Burgers featured the family matriach Linda sing an original song about Thanksgiving.

Looking to have a little added fun with their original composition the creators of the show reached out to The National to record a quick cover of the tune. Being the good sports that they are Matt Berninger and crew obliged with an amazingly mournful ballad. Christmas may have the most seasonal songs, but it’s pretty clear now that Thanksgiving now has one of the best. Listen to The National’s version below.
