Under the Radar “Pleased to Meet You” artists Local Natives are now local to Frenchkiss Records—home to other UTR favorites: Passion Pit, The Antlers, and The Dodos. Their new home for the Los Angeles-based band will be handling the stateside release of their debut full-length, Gorilla Manor, out in America February 16th, 2010 (it’s already out in the U.K.). The title—guitarist Ryan Hahn told Under the Radar‘s Mike Hilleary—was inspired by the band’s shared digs. “It was chaos all the time, but it was really cool because we could write and hang out together and be a band for the first time.” he explained.
Stay tuned, as Local Natives is set to take some of that controlled chaos on the road for a U.S. spring tour.
