Last night, Mumford and Sons stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman to perform “Little Lion Man.” Despite having to censor a particular line (even late shows don’t take kindly to the “F-bomb”), the performance will undoubtedly do wonders for their profile in America. The song is taken from the band’s debut album, Sigh No More.

Mumford & Sons are so “authentic” that they dress like they’ve just stepped off the set of Deadwood, despite the fact that they come from London and probably all went to posh schools. Last night (Feb. 17) the band made its network television debut with this version of “Little Lion Man” on David Letterman’s show.Marcus Mumford and his group perform folk music with a country twang to it, and it’s all very tasteful, very neat, very smooth around the edges. “Rolex Prices”
