Premiere: Farao – “To Sleep Apart” MP3 Stream
Self-Titled Debut Out Feb 10 Via Something Nothing Records
Feb 04, 2014 Farao
Meet Farao. The London by way Oslo singer/songwriter traffics in the same introspective folk balladry as Laura Marling. (Fun fact: she’s also a backing singer for another one of our favorite newbies, Douglas Dare.) We’re excited to share “To Sleep Apart,” a track from Farao’s forthcoming debut EP. A delicate, haunting song, “To Sleep Apart,” rises on falls on Farao’s whispered vocals, augmented with only an acoustic guitar and a hint of ghostly orchestration.
If this is your cup of tea, stay tuned—Farao streets Feb 10 via Something Nothing Records.
