Rilo Kiley Tease New Album
So Much For the Breakup
Dec 27, 2012 Rilo Kiley
Just when we thought we were over the news that Rilo Kiley had called it a day…comes word that they have just finished a new album. What? Quit toying with our emotions!
Today, the Los Angeles quartet—who has been fairly quiet since their last release, 2007’s Under the Blacklight—posted the following note on their Facebook: “Record is almost finished, and artwork is nearly done. Going to need your help! More to come.”
Of course, before we get our hopes too high (err…too late) it should be noted this could also refer to the band’s long awaited rarities and b-sides compilation. Said guitarist Blake Sennett about the project in an interview with Spinner, ““I think we’re going to try and release a two-disc set of 40 songs, or something.”
