Sebadoh
Sebadoh are releasing a new album, Act Surprised, on May 24 via Dangerbird. Previously they shared a video for its first single, “Celebrate the Void.” Now they have shared another song from it, “Stunned,” also via a video. Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Act Surprised is the band’s first album in six years. The band (Lou Barlow, Jason Loewenstein, and Bob D’Amico) recorded it with producer/sound engineer Justin Pizzoferatto after Barlow “moved back to his home state of Massachusetts following a series of personal changes.”
Loewenstein had this to say about “Stunned” in a press release: “The incessant bombardment of the senses with media and advertising can lead to a kind of self-defensive paralysis. I am completely stunned at this point.”
Lowenstein previously had this to say about the album: “Of all the records we have made in our long career, this is definitely the most recent.”
