Sigur Rós Release a Scented Candle
Smell the Studio
Feb 13, 2013 Sigur Rós
Today in news of the weird and (potentially good smelling): Sigur Rós has released a scented companion candle to Valtari album. Named after the track “Vardelur” the candle is said to smell like their studio, or a “smoky, slightly briny smell of a flotsam campfire on a distant black beach under a wan midnight sun.” Which is all very poetic, but we suspect the reality would be something closer to, “the sweat of four or five guys mixed with the remains of last night’s vegan Chinese food.” Yum!
Those who want to get the full Sigur Rós experience can purchase their newest piece of merch here for $23.50.
