Delton 3030, the hip-hop supergroup made up of Dan “The Automator” Nakamura, rapper Del the Funky Homosapien, and DJ Kid Koala, will soon release Deltron 3030: Event II, the trio’s first album in 13 years. Featuring a diverse mix of guest appearances from musical artists (Damon Albarn, Rage AGainst the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha), actors (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mary Elizabeth Winstead), comedians (David Cross), and musical actor comedians (The Lonely Island) the forthcoming LP is described by the group as being a rap opera set in a post-apocalyptic setting. Featuring the already shared track “City Rising From the Ashes,” the record is available to stream in full on Pitchfork Advance. Deltron 3030: Event II comes out Oct. 1.
