Father John Misty
Being the good husband that he is, singer/songwriter Josh Tillman, a.k.a. Father John Misty, has provided the score and soundtrack to his wife Emma Tillman’s upcoming short film debut The History of Caves. Telling the story of a widower whose womanizing escapism has profound effects on his three children, Emma explains in an interview with Esquire that the story “was written under the strange circumstances of having immediately woken up from a dream. The film’s story was fueled by my intense interest in the dark and seductive side of family life and in particular the relationship between parent and child. After writing the film, I spent most of my time during production staying in the abandoned house we shot in. Looking at the film now I can see Laurel Canyon’s damp mystery all over the film, and it creates an even more miraculous experience when watching.”
The official soundtrack for The History of Caves is currently streaming online, and will receive a limited 2,000 copy vinyl pressing for Record Store Day’s Black Friday sale. It will also be available to purchase digitally. Scroll down below to watch a trailer for the film. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon and XBox coming soon.

Hey there! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from
an established blog. Is it difficult to set up
your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty
fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not
sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
Appreciate it
