The Bird and the Bee Announce New Album, Release Video Starring Patton Oswalt and Simon Helberg
Recreational Love Due July 17
May 06, 2015 The Bird and the Bee
The Bird and the Bee (aka Inara George and Greg Kurstin) have announced their fourth album, their first album of original material in six years, since 2009’s Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future (in 2010 they also released covers album Interpreting the Masters, Vol. 1: A Tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates). Recreational Love is due out July 17. The indie-pop duo have released a video for the album’s first single, “Will You Dance?” The clip features comedians Patton Oswalt and Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory) and was thus appropriately premiered by Funny or Die. Watch as Helberg, an office worker, discovers the band in a bathroom stall.
