Recently opening for President Barack Obama in Iowa, The National will continue to lend their influence on the electoral process with a pair of show this week in Ohio. A decisive swing-state (and home of the band), The National will perform at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus tomorrow on Oct. 3 and at the Emery Theater in Cincinnati on Thursday, Oct. 4. In a clever move by the band, access to the shows will only be granted to those who have registered to vote, at which point attendees will be given pick-up information on their tickets. Head here for the Columbus show, and here for the Cincinnati show to register.
