The Smashing Pumpkins Ready Two New Albums For 2015
"Guitars Guitars and More Guitars"

The Smashing Pumpkins
Billy Corgan may have emphatically stated that it isn’t his job to shake up expectations, but that’s not going to stop the Smashing Pumpkins frontman from giving it a go anyway. The musician recently announced that his band will release not one but two albums in 2015: Monuments to an Elegy, and Day For Night (which with any luck will be an homage to Francois Truffaut).
“For those interested in sound, think: ‘guitars, guitars, guitars, and more guitars;’ but more so on the epic side of things than say, grossly metallic,” Corgan writes on the band’s new website Panopticon.
No word yet on official release dates, but the band says you can expect a new single by the end of the year.
