Hazy-electronics mastermind Toro y Moi (Chaz Bundick to his pals) plotted to release two albums in 2010—one filled with bloops and bleeps (check!) and one featuring real instrumentals (err…no.) Now Toro Y Moi is making up for lost time with the release of his sophomore album, Underneath the Pine (out February 22 via Carpark). Inspired by the likes of Ennio Morricone and François de Roubaix, this is Toro Y Moi, organic, with (as the press release promises) “the pervasive funk of his first record.” Check out the tracklist below.
